Meet the Hillbilly Hooker himself, Captain Andrew Mercer. He is a West Virginia native who was first brought to Key West via the United States Coast Guard. His love for the ocean and his passion for fishing flourished during his tour in Key West. He met his wife while stationed here and the pair had always planned to return. About 7 years ago, the Keys were calling. As their children grew older they gave into the urge and moved back to this tropical paradise. Hillbilly Hookers Charters was born shortly after.
Capt Andrew holds a USCG 200 Ton Master license with 21 years experience on the ocean, with 14 of those in the Key West waters. He understands that your fishing trip is not only about catching fish, it is to enjoy your time on the water and make memories. If you are happy when you leave the boat then he is happy!
We came down last year want to come down in January or February looking for 2-3 days of fishing want to bring some home looking for suggestions
